Mystery Evolutionary
Well you may have already found that we sound a little different than a lot of the stations out there, maybe that’s why you’re here. We sound different because we are! Officially we’re classified as an Adult Album Alternative (AAA) station. What does that mean you ask? Well I’ll tell you. It means we play a lot of wicked stuff, including 'forgotten' songs by a lot of mainstream artists, as well as really great B sides, and outstanding music by people you've never heard of. Confused, yet? So are we. But our listeners tell us they really like our mix!
But here’s the trick, we actually choose what we play! Every week students can submit and vote on what we should play through our music committee. And, hey, we’re always looking for new stuff so if you want to submit a group or song we’d love to hear from you
If you like blues and steel guitars than do i have a band for you! It's called Mud Dog and front man Steve Sainas rocks the house. It's something to throw on and chill to on those chilly evenings or in the backyard with a cold one in hand. On June 9, at the Terry Fox Theater Mud Dog will play with local Terry Fox Secondary School student ska band Thrash. Tickets are $10 and the lead singer and guitarist for Thrash, Daniel Bottyan, is one of the best up and coming musicians i have seen in a long time.

What a great event, students playing, put on by students for everyone! EVEN YOU! It's great and yours truly will be there along with fellow evolutionary Nick "Captain Internet" Kempinski! Come check it out... say hi to the evolution cruiser and get your two cents in with real live evolutionaries... Tickets $5.00 and there will be two shows!! This will probably be the single most pivotal interview of my entire life and I couldn't be more excited!
