Skateboarders are resilient and inventive. At least I think so.
I admire the way they use public spaces to get around town and their fluid body-board motion at what looks like terrifying breakneck speed. (I am afraid of breaking myself, although I think most skaters are more afraid of breaking their boards).
I called Mark Igloliorte to talk about skateboarding. He's been skating for over 15 years. He incorporates it into his life, his job, his art and definitely his future.
Mark told me about landing his first heel-flip, (his favourite trick), how he fits skating into his very adult-like life now, and why everyone should pick up a board.
