Today on Making Contact at 3:05 I will be talking to Julia Mackey, a local performer and playwright about her award winning one woman play Jake's Gift.

She tells us about her trip to Normandy for the 60th anniversary of D-Day, and how it helped inspire her to write the play about a cantakerous war veteran who returns to Juno Beach for the first time to visit his brother's grave that never made it home.
