October is here. Our federal election is drawing closer, but does anyone care? It's okay to pay attention to the politics of the worlds most powerful nation, but lets not forget that we do live in a country of our own.
It really bugs me that the Canadian masses are enthralled with the American presidential election, but consider their own federal election almost irrelevant.

On Monday I talked about one of the biggest differences between men and women.... Shoes!!!!! Seriously, why are women so obsessed with them? Did you know that the average North American woman between the ages of 25 and 50 owns anywhere from 40 to 60 pairs of shoes?!
To close out the month of September, the topic is sports and the impact they can have on a local community. I explain why it's important for us as a community to help out with minor league sports teams in any way we can.

I saw a story on the news about police going into schools and showing kids guns they've taken from schools before. i think that as a kid that would be the most terrifying thing ever. When I go to BCIT everyday I never think that I should have a gun but if someone were to show me the guns they had gotten off other students - that's scary. So this got me thinking about all the ways we use scary stories to try and make kids stay on the straight and narrow. Like even Fairy Tales when Little Red Riding Hood strays off the path she gets eaten.... more>
