In Luke's spare time, he likes to: I’m a long distance runner; I race 10 km and 21km. I also enjoy reading, hiking, acting and writing. Luke's biggest influence is: Paavo Nurmi, a Finnish distance runner who won 13 medals at three summer Olympics. He was dedicated to his sport and never lost his humility. If Luke could see any musician live, it would be: Louis Armstrong in a club in New Orleans. In 15 years, Luke sees himself: Hopefully involved with animated features – I love doing voice-over work. Luke Dickinson quotes: “For we, we can overcome all” – Aldous Huxley “I think, therefore I am” - Rene Descartes “Some people get their kicks from cocaine” – Sheriff Bart, Blazing Saddles |
A few days ago I was cruising around on-line, looking for information about teaching creationism in American schools, and I found this nifty little website:
The hilarious and tragic thing about this "religion" is that many who wrote in hate-mail actually think it's real!
Obviously the concept of "parody" isn't well-known in religious circles.
Howdy y'all,
I had a ball this afternoon. At the start of the show I mentioned Halloween is coming soon, so I've posted this link to a music video starring Pennywise the Dancing Clown, from "It" fame:

I've got a possible video coming your way tomorrow. Just check my blog; I'll post it here.
Howdy y'all,
I may not have a personality, but I can "fill the void" like nobody's business. I also mentioned another mutant bear, one who has a soft spot for diesel drums.

It truly is post-secondary education's shining moment.
Howdy y'all,
Did my first show with the staple station pink cowboy hat and some kind of mutant-looking bear on my shirt to give myself a manly look. I also made a poke at the "coffin-dodgers" (old people I have to dance around while I'm running on the track). Tune in at 4:00 to find out why I don't have a personality!

The band's only been around for two years, and they've faced high expectations from critics, a marathon tour schedule and the death of one of their members. Despite the tough times, the band is still determined as ever to succeed, and has finally released a first album, The Rhum Line. The cello and violin that feature so prominently in this collection may give the music a melancholy feel, but that's to be expected with all the hardship this band's endured.... more>
