Alistair’s biggest influences are: Diamond David Lee Roth for music, and Murray Baron (ex-Canuck) for athletics. Dave was the coolest cat in the world for five years, and Baron played defence like how I try to.

If Alistair could see any musician live, it would be: Rolling Stones circa 1970. Led Zep in 1975. The mighty Van Halen from 1979-1983. Rod Stewart and the Faces in the ‘70’s. The Arrows, a forgotten ‘80’s New Wave Canadian band. Vancouver’s own Doug & the Slugs.Spirit of the West, again. Bruce Springsteen & the E-Street Band circa 1984. Huey Lewis & the News "back in time" in 1985. I could go on.

Who would win in a fight, Bruce Lee or Chuck Norris? Come on ’80’s Nation, represent. The winner would clearly be either a guest appearance by either Stallone’s Rambo or Terminator AH-nold; they both have access to rifles, machine guns, and rocket launchers. Can kung fu stop a missile? I think not.

If Alistair could morph into any animal, it would be: I’d rather morph into a tank which would be awesome. Good-bye, traffic jams. Think Transformers.

Alistair’s favourite colour is: Navy Blue

Alistair Burns quotes:

"One Thing that you should know, if it's too loud, you're too old." -80's rock band Autograph

"If you go out and buy a Van Halen record and put it in your collection, it'll melt your other records." -David Lee Roth

"All it takes is a little confidence." -Advertisement for the film "The Sting"
